V/A - MICHIGAN BRAND NUGGETS

Une compilation consacrée aux mid 60s du Michigan, les groupes qui ont plaqué les premiers accords qui allaient définir le Detroit Sound, des singles parus entre 65 et 67 pour la plupart, des titres gorgés de soul et hyperénergétiques...On aimerait bien une suite late 70s avec les Stooges, Fredric, Detroit Wheels, SRC, Frost, Frijid Pink, Adrenalin, Third Power, Brownsville Station, Mystic Siva, The Up, Funkadelic...A défaut, la compilation Michigan Rocks (Seeds & Stems, 1977) fait très bien son office...Une excellente compilation aux confins du Garage, du protopunk et du Heavy Psychedelism. Must have.
