ONCE UPON A TIME VOL 19 - The Midwest '79

En cette année 79, la scène Punk du Midwest apporte de nombreux groupes tombés depuis dans l'oubli: Cult Heroes, Meaty Buys, Immune System, Special Affects, Brain Police, Cold Cock, Blinders...Les Dead Boys ont splitté, Stiv Bator & Cheetah Chrome enregistrent séparément. Circle X formé en 78 dans le Kentucky, après un passage à New York s'installera plusieurs mois en France à Dijon, c'est un des rares groupes qui y laissera une trace : le LP "Prehistory" sorti sur l'Invitation au Suicide en 83", le "Live à Dijon '79" édité en 2009 par le label Fractal : http://www.fractal-records.com/04catalogue/catal_1.htm.
Des titres très forts: "Weekend Punk" de Mr Unique & The Leisure Suits (formés en 77 à Detroit), "Dead End America" des Pagans...
