CHEETAH CHROME MOTHERFUCKERS - The Furious Era 1978-1987

Combo formé à Pise en 1979 par Syd "Migx" Piercecchi  (vocals), Domenico Petrosino alias Dome La Muerte (guitar), Antonio Cecchi (bass) & Alessandro Fantinato (drums). CCM sont parmi les pionniers du hardcore en Italie avec des formations comme Stigmathe, Raw Power, I Refuse It!, Peggio Punx, Cani, Declino, Impact... Le groupe sort son premier EP '400 Fascists" en 1981 sur Cessofonya Records puis une split K7 avec I Refuse It! en 83, et un second EP Furious Party sur Belfagor en 85. Leur hardcore est extrêmement proche des premières formations américaines Black Flag, Circle Jerks, 7 Seconds...et atteint un sommet dans leur album "Into The Void" enregistré en 86 à Indianapolis. En 87, après la sortie de leur album live au SO 36, le groupe se sépare, Dome La Muerte rejoint Not Moving... Italian hardcore monster...
