Combo de Pittsburgh, Maryland, formé en 1979 par Karl Mullen alias Joe Soap (vocals, guitar), Chris Koenigsberg (bass), Archie "Hans" Werner (organ, Keyboards), Steve Sciulli (synthesizer) & Dennis Childers (drums). Carsickness, un groupe résolument intelligent, on pense à des groupes à la foi proto-punk et post-punk comme Pere Ubu, Tin Huey voire Billy Synth, une démarche musicale avant tout novatrice mêlant la modernité avec des éléments issus du jazz, progressif ...
