Un combo de Nottingham formé en 1973 sous le nom de Brothel Creepers puis Glider en 1974. Ces pub rockers se renomment Plummet Airlines en 76 et sortent leur premier single "Silver Shirt / This Is The World" chez Stiff Records, un single pas franchement excitant, par contre leur second single paru sur State Records sans Richard Booth (guitar) parti rejoindre Brainiac 5, est nettement plus dans l'air du temps, il faut dire qu'en mars 76, le groupe a ouvert pour les Sex Pistols au 100 Club. Line-up: Harry Stephenson (vocals, guitar), Duncan Kerr (guitar, vocals), Darryl Hunt (bass, vocals) & Keith Gotheridge (drums)... Peu de temps après le single, le groupe se sépare: Duncan Kerr, Darryl Hunt et Keith Gotheridge forment The Favourites en 78....
