DEEP WOUND - Deep Wound

Combo formé en 1982 à Westfield, Massachusetts, par Charlie Nakajima (vocals), Lou Barlow (guitar), Scott Helland (bass) & J Mascis (drums). Le quartet adolescent déclame un hardcore extrêmement expéditif et ne tarde pas à se produire localement, notamment à Amherst avec The Outpatients, le groupe d'Eric Helland, frère de Scott. "Notre premier concert à Boston était avec DYS, The Mighty Cos et The FU's. C'était un grand moment pour nous. Nous étions vraiment intimidés." (Lou Barlow). Le groupe ne laisse que le EP "Deep Wound", deux titres sur la compilation "Bands That Could Be God" dédiée au Masschusetts et une K7 demo de 1982 avant le split en 1984 ...Lou Barlow & J Mascis forment Dinosaur Jr, Scott Helland intègre The Outpatients, et Nakajima formera GobbleHoof...Tracks A1-A9 Deep Wound EP 1983, A10-A11 Bands That Could Be God Compilation & A12-B12 1982 Demo... Fast Hardcore...
