SHOES THIS HIGH - Straight To Hell + Shoes This High EP

Combo formé à Wellington, NZ, en 1978 sous le nom de The Amps, après un turn over important le line-up se stabilise avec Brent Hayward (vocals), Kevin Hawkins (guitar), Jessica Walker (bass) & Chris Plummer (drums). Le groupe se renomme Shoes This High en 1979 et se relocalise à Auckland, mais des tensions internes conduisent le groupe au split malgré un succès grandissant. Shoes This High ne laisse qu'un EP en 1981 dans une veine post-punk entre Birthday Party et Public Image Ltd... Le label américain Siltbreeze édite ce LP d'archives en 2014 avec du matériel studio et live... Great Kiwi post-punk stuff...
